If you've received Ange's emails, you've already received this information, but I'll post it here again anyway: our flight information, and the checklist and parental contract.
We'll be calling a group meeting in early February. We'll post it here, and announce it on the school website.
Also, here's the list of our packing suggestions. (You may want to go to Mountain Equipment Co-op (either online or in Winnipeg) to shop for many or all of these things.)
Packing Suggestions
Clothing
Travelers should be conscientious of cultural differences and pack accordingly. Keep in mind that some religious sites require that shirts cover the shoulders and arms, and do not allow short skirts or flip-flops.

Wondering why you should travel to Italy?
Let's put it this way: according to
UNESCO, Italy is home to 40% of the art in...the...world.
This
is the birthplace of the Renaissance, the home of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo,
Raphael, Botticelli, Titian, Donatello, Giotto—the list goes on and on...and
that's just the Renaissance!
Then
there are the Byzantine mosaics in Ravenna and glittering mosaics in St. Mark's
Basilica in Venice, the baroque churches of Lecce in Apulia, the Bernini
statues in Rome...
See Mr Paul Krahn, Chris Friesen or
Angela Pilkington for more information.
